Jessie Skye Ellis

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours)

Jessie graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). She has experience working with children with a range of developmental disabilities and delays, including autism, ADHD, developmental coordination disorder (dyspraxia), dysgraphia, and many more; with particular interest in supporting children with vision impairments (blindness and low vision).

Jessie loves helping children and their families make sense of their challenges and how their strengths and supports can be leveraged to engage in the activities that are meaningful to them. She values operating in a collaborative, strength-based way, and is skilled in using play-based approaches and occupational performance coaching to empower families. In her spare time Jessie enjoys playing field hockey, baking and camping.
